Nearly 70% Anganwadi kendras in Orissa functioning without houses. Such kendras not only help in guiding people regarding various household and living abilities but they also came as a great help in disseminating knowledge through education.
But on the contrary manner there comes certain loopholes as such. 70% of Agangwadi are functioning without houses. They lack the proper facilities of maintaining their resources. While the primary schools still don’t get the required funding zones one can assume the functions continuing in the state in regard to such respect. These days the concept of primary school with basic amenities is again not visible in the sphere. Even the government is not able to provide basic necessities for the community in the form of a house. This is not only derogative in itself but also a path that leads to much of negative look for the governmental efforts.
While more number of Agangwadi centres still need a community centre and a well equipped primary school to develop there remains no support in this matter. Schools are governed with no funding agency on it at all with any basic necessities.
Again the schools are not equipped with wash rooms and other requirements. The video conferencing facility for all centres being administered by the government but to no result. The service is not accessed at any point of time neither is tried to settle with. The exact environment required for a child’s development is not applicable in such communities.
Government is trying to wind up steps to get the maximum and hence need to focus more on such issues that need a correction.
