Pearl Academy discusses Indian art
Pearl Academy of Fashion, a leading fashion and design education institute in India, organized conference to discuss the condition of Indian craftsmanship and artisans here recently.
The conference was attended by personalities from various fields like retail, fair Trade, NGOs and media & design enterprises. They participated and shared their knowledge in the field during the conference.
Gillian Rowe, Aditi Shah Aman, Mala Pradeep Sinha, Villoo Mirza, Vikram Joshi, Jatin Bhatt, Meera Goradia, Gurpreet Sindhu and Ms Kusum Tiwari attended the comference.
Kshitij Padeya, MD, Eco Tasar Silk Pvt Ltd. who came with more “modern” approach of crafts business and talked about the pragmatic ways to bring the depleting art into the mainstream industry.
