Stay away from education space: PN Vijay

Stay away from education space, says PN Vijay, Portfolio Manager.
Vijay told CNBC-TV18, "One would like to stay away from education space for two reasons. There is a major promoter issue here. I think unfortunately for this space at least the listed companies have had one problem or the other. Educomp if you remember had major issue last year and todayEveronn 's Mr. Kishor being arrested for bribing an income tax official."
He further added, "I think you will be a brave man to put big money into the sector. It’s a very great sector. The connectivity on education through the internet is a compelling need in a country like India but somehow the big boys have not entered it. I really wish an Infosys or a TCS would come in. NIIThas come in a small way. So, right now one is just staying clear."
