The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) Counseling for Engineering Admissions will be held from July 7 2011. CET Counseling is postponed from June 27, 2011 in the vague of confusion related to number of engineering seats, which needs approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The seat matrix of engineering colleges will be released by June 28, 2011. The revised CET Counseling schedule is yet to be announced. Earlier we have notified about the fee hike issue in Karnataka Engineering Colleges, which can be read here. We have also notified about the ‘Supernumery’ Quota for poor & merit students which will come into effect from this year. 5% of seats in engineering colleges will be allocated to poor and merit students, meaning they will be offered admission with out fees.
